Hi, I’m Kimberle, and I’m thrilled to have you here.

Southern Sunshine & Wine was born from my passion for sharing the exceptional wines I love, along with the stories that make them special. Growing up in Southern California, I spent countless hours exploring the Santa Barbara County wine country—a place that holds a special place in my heart. I’ve noticed that many people aren’t fully aware of the rich world of wine, and I’ve made it my mission to make wine more approachable and to educate others about this vast and fascinating industry. I’m a firm believer in supporting small producers who prioritize sustainability and doing things the right way. It’s not just better for us as consumers, but also for our planet and future generations.

 

A lifelong learner

My journey with wine has always been driven by a deep curiosity and a love for learning. I am a Certified Wine Professional with the following certifications: Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Level 3, American Wine Expert (AWE), and I am currently pursuing my Certified Wine Educator (CWE) certification through the Society of Wine Educators.

This passion for knowledge has led me to create educational experiences that make wine more approachable for everyone. As a wine educator for a couple of tasting rooms in North Georgia, I enjoy sharing what I’ve learned with guests in a fun and accessible way. From teaching the basics of wine to leading customized tastings and staff training sessions, I’m dedicated to helping others discover and enjoy the world of wine.

For me, learning never stops — and that’s exactly what keeps my passion for wine alive.
